Writers Night at The Idle Hour......

Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 10:00pm or "whenever" is now writers night at the Idle Hour. We have a PA system so your masterpiece can be heard above the usual din at the bar. Next Thursday will be the fourth one. The first three have been well attended and we have had generally good reviews from people who should know about these things. Mike Mayo is running the show. As is normal at the Idle Hour , all you have to do is show up and play. If you can't make it on Thursday don't worry, come in anytime, because "Every Night is Writers Night at the Idle Hour".Posted by Picasa

Nashville Independent Music is on the web.......(click here)....

After a lot of hard work by John Haring and his posse the long gestation period is over. They have given us a site to hear and download songs from people who have actually played at the Idle Hour.
Among others, there are songs and CDs by Jonathan "Smiley Face"Long, Thom "Lizard"Case, Annie Mosher, Lisa Carver, and yours truly. It's a good looking website and we're all proud to be associated. Check it out at.......http://www.nashvilleim.com/.......
